Gettin' Bloggy With It: How To Add A RSS Feed Footer

Blogging Tips and Tricks

I'm loving that you're loving this little series! I've had several emails asking for some bloggy tech assistance, one of which is today's feature. Kara from Me And Elna asked how I got my RSS feed to have a footer with the link to my blog.

Head into your Blogger Dashboard >> Settings >> Other >> Post Feed Footer:

In the box, type your little message. Choose which word/s you would like linked to your blog and insert the following code before and after your word:

<a href="YOUR BLOG URL" target="_blank">YOUR WORD</a>

Replace the red text with the URL for your blog homepage and voila! Don't forget to click 'Save Settings!' And if you aren't already, subscribe to your own RSS feed so that you can keep an eye on it and make sure it's publishing properly.

If you have any questions you'd like, leave a comment or email me at contact AT blossomheartblog.com and I'll do my best to answer!

PS - I'm slowly organising tutorials and pages and all that, so those who do follow by RSS will notice a few extra posts popping up now and then as I backdate and publish posts instead of using up all the Blogger pages. Please bear with me!

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment! I try my hardest to reply to all comments - either here or via email if you have your email linked to your profile :) Unfortunately Blogger's spam filter has stopped catching all the spam, so Anonymous comments have been turned off. I'd rather do that then make you jump through word verification!
